Today is my second day of speaking English, and I’ve found that the audio recognition app works on the website but not in the mobile app. The accuracy isn’t always great, so I have to keep improving, hoping my pronunciation will be recognized correctly. Also, this audio recognition app doesn’t consider the beginning and end of sentences properly, which makes it difficult to reconstruct the text for uploading to my website. So now, I’m thinking about switching to another recognition app.

Today, I worked hard at my company and managed to finish my project, so I feel stress-free now and can focus on my learning. I really want to prepare for my upcoming exam. Also, I need to listen to my own speech because it’s important to understand the difference between what native speakers say and how I pronounce things. I had a sad experience at work today. I was asked to be a translator for a meeting with foreign clients, but I could hardly understand what they were saying. It was partly due to their pronunciation, but I also have to admit that I'm not used to hearing Asian English. Now I realise that I need to work harder and keep improving so that I can become more accustomed to different accents—including Asian English, which is important since I’m also Asian myself.

That's why I'm here today, pushing myself to improve. Still, I feel ashamed because I lost my confidence, and it was shocking to realise how useless I was in that situation. Another issue I noticed is that I don't naturally think in English. First, I have to think in Japanese, then translate my thoughts into English, which slows me down and makes it harder to speak fluently.
